For a whole month, i've been keeping it on the down low (on my blog that is) about our exciting move. I wanted to make sure that nothing whatsoever was in the air and that it was a sure thing. We got the call today that all our finances are in check and that it's as official as it gets minus the actual closing date which is........DRUM ROLLING......... In one week. 7 days!!!!!
We are really excited and also a little bummed. we love our new house but we're heart broken about leaving the city. we have developed such a great relationship with our neighbors and wish we could take them with us. plus some of our favorite friends just moved into our hood only for us to ship out. I will miss walking to market, to the bank, to carmen and david's ice creamery, the door to door hogar crea flan, seeing all the local city people who you feel like you know but don't.
But let's be serious. I mean i won't miss the other neighbors that completely drive us nuts and I won't miss my car being broken into OR STOLEN! and I won't miss the shootings or the prostitutes.
A newlywed couple will be taking over our place. we were practically newlyweds when we moved here too. It's been so great living here and I do love this little place....but i'm glad to say goodbye to it and to meet my new house, which i have a notion to name after having just finished reading Pride and Prejudice where all estates have names. any ideas?

first of all, i'm thinking of hogar crea flan and thinking that maybe you should rethink this plan to move. second, i want to tell you that i laid down a sick groove to the smooth jazz in that property video.
